HOW DOES A MINI SESSION WORK?

To be honest, conducting back-to-back indoor mini sessions is a new experience for me as well, as I typically offer them exclusively to my Family Archive Members. However, I've carefully planned and researched this process to ensure it runs smoothly. The most crucial aspect is punctuality; arriving on time is essential. Failure to do so may result in missing out on your allotted time slot. Upon your arrival, you can wait in your car. When it's your turn, my assistant will come to find you. She will then escort you into the studio where you'll be greeted with a refreshing mimosa or non-alcoholic beverage, if desired. Next, we'll settle into one of two designated areas for the session. You won't need to do anything other than spend time with your children and connect. The more relaxed you are, the more relaxed they'll feel. Once the photo session concludes, my assistant will provide the kids with a special treat, if it's okay with you. 🤗

WHAT CAN WE DO DURING OUR SESSION?

Honestly, anything you like! If you're lacking ideas, I'll provide guidance based on your children's mood. We might cuddle, exchange hugs or kisses, share jokes, laugh, make serious faces, or even shout funny words. If we've worked together before, you're familiar with my approach.

HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR OUR SESSION?

Punctuality is key. Once your time slot passes, I won't be able to accommodate you.
Dress as you wish. Whether it's formal, casual, pajamas or even costumes, feel free to express yourselves.
Be prepared. With limited breaks available, ensure the kids have used the restroom and had a snack before arriving at the studio.
Most importantly, have fun! You're welcome to bring props like glasses or hats, or your child's favorite stuffed animal.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE GET FROM OUR SESSION?

You'll receive 5 images from your gallery, with at least 15-20 images to choose from. If you wish to purchase additional photos beyond the 5 included, I'll provide pricing for extra photos or the entire gallery.

WHO CAN BE A PART OF THE MINI SESSION?

For the Motherhood Mini Sessions, only mamas and their kids are included. Sorry dad's, it's just for the gals this time. You are welcome to bring another female identifying figure in your life to participate like a grandmother, dear friend, auntie, nanny to be in the photos.

WHAT IS THIS ABOUT FLOWERS? 🌷

I am partnering with my friend and local flower grower Zena, of Basin Flowers, to offer mothers the option to purchase a bouquet of flowers for themselves, their mother, a friend, or a loved one. Here is a blurb from Zena about what you will receive. // "Featuring the best of what's coming out of our field, this cheery bouquet is sure to bring joy. Each bouquet will include ~12 stems of novelty tulips. These aren't your normal grocery store tulips! We take pride in growing unique varieties of double peony and parrot tulips that will brighten any day." // Zena will pick the flowers fresh and deliver them to us on the morning of the sessions.
